Reprogramming Meta Alarms

If the code card is lost we are now able to re-code the M8700, M996, M928, M99T and M99T2 alarms systems only. All the HPA range of alarms can also be re-coded. Alarm brains are usually located somewhere under the dash, if it cannot be located follow one of the sensor wires or the LED wire which will lead you to the control unit.

We can reprogram the alarms listed above with two new round remotes plus a new codecard for programing more remotes in the future. The cost is £99, this includes next day delivery before 1PM.

Locating Factory Fitted Alarms

Alfa GTV

Either of the alarms shown above can be fitted to the GTV depending on year of manufacturer.

To locate the alarm:
On the drivers side locate and remove a small screw in the carpet cover of the centre console, remove the cover, and you should see the M99 alarm brain located somewhere under the stereo unit, pull out the alarm (sometimes it may be easier to do this from the passenger side - same method of removing the carpet cover) remove the plugs and send it to me at the address below. Without the alarm the car will still start and run as normal. Once reprogrammed simply plug the alarm in which will start working immediately.

Fiat Coupe

The alarm is located behind the fuse box located in the drivers footwell. Pull the fusebox down as far as it will go (it is mounted on stiff hinges - for more info see owners manual), using a torch locate the alarm which is simply pushed up where all the fusebox wires disappear, gently pull it down and unplug the unit and send it to me at the address below.

For a very fast turnaround send the alarm via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which in most occasions the alarm will be returned to you within 48 hours (this is for next working day delivery, weekends may take longer). The total cost is £99, this includes two round remote fobs (upgrade option for two button ignition key remote fobs - add £10 per fob) a new red codecard with new code for adding fobs in the future & operating instructions, inclusive of next day Special Delivery back to you.
