Reprogramming or replacement Meta M99 alarms

These cars are fitted with a modified M99T2 which has a software enhancement for the dealers to access and interrogate the alarms for fault codes etc. These units are essentially the same as the Standard M99T2 which is also a direct replacement. There is a known firmware fault with these model alarms being affected by wireless home door bells/wifi etc. where on certain occasions the alarm goes off for no particular reason (when this false alarm occurs usually the indicators do not flash). The only option is to replace the alarm. If the alarm needs to be reprogrammed the main unit can be found under the dash cover on the passenger side.

We can supply the latest Meta M99TV2 which is a direct replacement for the unit fitted. This kit also contains the ultrasonic sensors which you can add for extra protection (the VX220 comes as standard with a microwave sensor hidden somewhere behind the drivers seat) and a wiring loom which simply plugs into the existing alarm plug to enable remote central locking to work with the new alarm (simple instructions supplied).

The alarm unit can be seen on the far left in the above photo (look for the red sticker on the back of the unit). The arrows show the screw points for removal of the dash cover. Once located simply unplug the alarm and sent it to the address below, the car will still operate as normal.

Re-programming the VX220 alarm system

The total cost is £99, this includes two round remote fobs (upgrade option for two button ignition key remote fobs - add £10 per fob) a new red codecard with new code for adding fobs in the future & operating instructions, inclusive of next day Special Delivery back to you.
