GEMEL SERPI STAR
SERPI STAR GEMEL REMOTES We can only supply SELF CODING two button remotes like the one pictured above for Gemel Serpi Star Alarms In addition to a new self coding remote you will require either an override key, touchkey or an emergency code number to program it into the main alarm brain, without any of these it will not be possible to code in a new remote. This remote will also work with the Meta M999T (five digit override code required)
Some of the ND range of alarms require the on/off key for programming new remotes, Click here if the on/off keys are not available.
Single button remote controls are no longer available and are not compatible with the two button models. If lost or broken the alarm will need removing or replacing.
How to determine what type of remote you have..... If you are not sure whether your remote control is self coding (random encrypted) or fixed code type carry out he following procedure: Press both buttons simultaneously and hold, the LED should flash quickly, after 10 seconds the LED light goes out, release both buttons, the LED will now stay on constantly, press and release any button and the LED will go out. If your remote does not do the above than you have the fixed code variety, this remote control is no longer available. If you have the old oblong unit with a corner cut out of it we are no longer able to supply this product (note that later versions of the oblong remote are self coding and the above remote can be programmed into your alarm system). Self learning procedures (5 digit pin code required for GR99, touchkey required for GR 470/480, on/off keys required for ND5, ND6 & ND14 Note If you do not have the touch keys it will be impossible to program a new remote into the system.

Star Gemel DR Touchkey for the GR470 & 480 range of alarm systems.
Please note you will require a working touchkey to program a new key into
the system. Once a DR override touchkey has been programmed into any of
the Serpi Star systems it will be impossible to program the same key into
another. For this reason we are unable to take back unwanted touchkeys.
