The updated version of the SR2 which can be used with a tow bar or a spare wheel etc mounted on the outside of the vehicle. On installation simply program the control module to permanently recognise any objects in the surrounding area (easily reprogrammed should any thing change). Can also be wired to automatically switch off when a trailer or caravan is in situ and wired to the car stereo mute function (both are wiring options) .
Mounted directly onto the rear bumper, this ingenious device detects obstacles to the rear of the vehicle making parking safer and easier. Especially useful for longer vehicles or vehicles with restricted rear vision. As the vehicle reverses towards an obstacle, an audible warning beep increases intensity to alert the driver until a constant tone gives the indication to stop before contact.
This must be the easiest to fit reversing aid on the market. No large holes to drill, just simply remove the number plate, mount the number plate bracket and clip the number plate back into the bracket.
Please note: Only suitable for European oblong type number plates and not the square types fitted to some Japenese Grey import vehicles. Also the number plate must be centrally fitted to the vehicle and not to one side.

Hi there, how long is the wire from the sensor to the controll box as it has to go from my number plate on the tailgate of my mitsubishi grandis to the bottom of the D pillar inside the car ? thank you
The leads from each of the sensors are a little over 3M in length. We can also supply a speaker extension lead if required.

Is there any maximum height restriction on mounting this ?
The maximum recommended working height is 1.5M
Does the towbar-friendly bit of this mean some wiring into the towbr system ?
The towbar friendly bit means it can work with a towbar fitted, the TGi can learn where the towbar ball is and ignore it while still being able to sense objects around it.
There is some optional extra wiring that connects to the towbar wiring, essentially this turns off the sensors when the towbar plug is connected to the vehicle's socket.
