Easyfit parking sensors, mounted directly onto the rear bumper, this ingenious device detects obstacles to the rear of the vehicle making parking safer and easier. Especially useful for longer vehicles or vehicles with restricted rear vision. As the vehicle reverses towards an obstacle, an audible warning beep increases intensity to alert the driver until a constant tone gives the indication to stop before contact.

This must be the easiest to fit reversing aid on the market. No large holes to drill, just simply remove the number plate, mount the number plate bracket and clip the number plate back into the bracket.

Please note: Only suitable for European oblong type number plates and not the square types fitted to some Japenese Grey import vehicles. Also the number plate must be centrally fitted to the vehicle and not to one side. Not suitable for use with a tow bar or other obstructions in front of the number plate, see the Meta SR2 TGI which has the capability of programming out such obstructions. The SR2 can also be fitted to the front number plate area though an on/off switch may be required or a timer relay can be used for seamless operation more info

Please Note that Parking Sensor systems are designed to be a drivers aid and should not replace the need to drive carefully, and as such is designed as a safety enhancement device and is in no way intended as a replacement for rear-view mirrors, side-view mirrors or physically checking the surroundings when backing a vehicle. Always check surroundings for safety when backing.

This Standard SR2 is not compatible with the Display4 visual aid unit, if the Display4 is required please order the SR2 Tgi or the Frontplate4

Hi there, how long is the wire from the sensor to the controll box as it has to go from my number plate on the tailgate of my mitsubishi grandis to the bottom of the D pillar inside the car ? thank you	The leads from each of the sensors are a little over 3M in length. We can also supply a speaker extension lead if required. More info
is the speaker part of meta equipment where is it to be mounted.	The speaker is very small, not much larger than a two penny piece, it can be mounted anywhere, behind a carpet trim, on the rear hatch, anywhere you like.
I have a meta sri from but am about to fit a towbar can i uprate to a tgi without removing all present sensors	Yes the standard sensors will work with the TGI unit, but you'll have to upgrade the control box, the wiring loom and the speaker which are all different to the standard SR2 model, purchase a replacement here
Is there any maximum height restriction on mounting this ?	The maximum recommended working height is 1.5M
Are there any holes to be drilled into the car?	A small hole (6-8mm) may be required to allow the cables to enter the vehicle, a rubber bung is supplied with the kit to seal this hole.
Can this be fitted to the front of the car if so how does it operate	Yes the SR2 can be fitted to the front of the vehicle, a switch (not supplied) will be required to turn the unit on & off, or a timer relay can be installed which will operate the front sensors for a set period of time when the car is placed into reverse. Can the SR2 function with the Display4	No, the SR2 does not have an output for the Display4, if required please choose the TGi or Frontplate4 systems which are both compatible with the visual aid unit
