I have a 2002 Toyota Hiace van which has a Gemel Serpi Star GR470 fitted.
The central locking was not working at all when I got the van but I found that the fuse had been removed. I can only assume that the previous owner preferred to have the central locking deactivated for security reasons. (Also, every lock on the van requires a different key!)
I have refitted the fuse and the CL now works again.
I have looked in the user manual for the alarm and it states that it should activate the CL from the fob when arming/disarming but it doesn't.
I want to have remote central locking so that I don't have to carry five keys and a fob around everywhere.
Can anyone suggest how I might get the central locking working remotely through the alarm? I'd rather do it that way if possible, rather than installing a remote CL kit which would require adding another fob to my keys.
Thanks in advance.

if fitted it could be the motor that operates the cdl in the drivers door is faulty. This is assuming that the alarm has been wired to operate the cdl.
