 Metasystem M8700, Need to change car battery |

Hi,
I've got a Metasystem M8700 installed on my Mercedes Benz 190E and I need to remove the car battery. I've heard stories of alarms going off etc. when the main car battery is removed and problems with reprogramming. First, should I do anything to the alarm before removing the car battery? Will the alarm work like normal when I reconnect the battery, or do I need to reprogram it? |

There should not be a problem with disconnecting the battery but as usual there is always a small risk of the alarm loosing the codes of the remotes, luckily the M8700 can be reprogrammed by a Meta dealer should there be a problem.
